We are thrilled to announce an exciting event organized by the Leadership Development Committee: Passion Pitches. Over the past few months, students have dedicated their time and energy to a project that aims to embody the spirit of creativity.

On January 17th Trumark hosted a Reality Fair for students in the McHugh Gymnasium. The fair aimed to educate Gwynedd’s students on becoming financially stable adults, better preparing them for college and adulthood.

Throughout December, Gwynedd’s Leadership Development Committee (LDC) worked tirelessly on creating proposals for a project titled “Leadership Through Inclusivity." This project gave the girls an opportunity to pitch a leadership project based on a topic of interest for their group such as social media, athletics, STEM, music, service, etc.

Participants in Lead4Change not only get to create and lead a project aligned with their passions but also contribute to sparking positive change in our community. Last year, three groups were awarded a $1,000 grant each to support their initiatives and expand their impact this year.

Gwynedd’s annual coat drive is a result of senior Ava Kolp’s hard work and is inspired by her “Gwynedd Gives Warmth” Lead4Change project. She created this project to benefit members of the community while incorporating the Critical Concern of Earth.

Approximately 32 companies and organizations hosted Gwynedd Mercy students, allowing students interested in STEM fields to work with cutting-edge technology and converse with engineers, scientists, and IT professionals over the summer.

During October, Gwynedd Volleyball partnered up with the L.E.A.D. Council to work with an organization called "The Sideout Foundation," an American non-profit breast cancer charity that raises awareness and funds for treatment.
