Join Us for a Groundbreaking Celebration!
Gwynedd Mercy invites you to a historic groundbreaking celebration on Sunday, September 10, for the School’s new 20,000 square foot Monarch Wing, featuring a dining and community commons, seminar room, and counseling center. This casual, fun event is free for the entire Gwynedd Mercy community—alumnae, students, current and past parents and grandparents, current and past faculty and staff, and friends—and families are welcome!
The groundbreaking ceremony, including a special tribute to the Sisters of Mercy, will begin at 12:30 PM. A community barbecue will immediately follow from 1-3 PM. Attendees will enjoy a delicious buffet, dessert food trucks, music, yard games, and more. Attendees will also have an opportunity to see project renderings and to learn about our historic seven million dollar campaign, "A Place to Soar," which is helping to fund this essential project for the benefit of all current and future students.
Join us as we prepare to soar to new heights, expanding our alma mater’s ability to carry out the vision of the Sisters of Mercy by delivering innovative programs, fostering self-advocacy and leadership skills, and promoting collaboration and community connections with our new Monarch Wing.
Please RSVP by August 30. Hope to see you and your family and classmates there! |
